OEM hard bag brackets

I will post in the wanted too but I thought that this would be more of a specialized sub-forum.

As some of you read I just purchased a 05 with never mounted bags. I was going to install them tonight and it seems that I completely overlooked the mounting brackets for the side bags.

I contacted the seller and since he never mounted the bags he doesn't have them either.

Does anyone have an extra set of the OEM brackets that they would want to sell or do you know where I could pick them up for less than the $500 that Honda wants?

it works good as a slider too-what about the bags-only a $1000 and got them-have to paint them black however

Sup_uni, I just got a set off eBay about a week ago for $15. No joke. One of my searches used the part number [ 08L41-MCW-1000W ] and it turned up. The description had no mention of VFR800.

I just got lucky, I guess. I had only been looking for about 1 month or so. I also found OEM bags for ~$260 on eBay. I guess I'm just a lucky SOB.

Here is proof it is possible.

:biggrin: Just keep searching, you don't have to pay ~$300-$400 for this.

Damit. I'm pretty sure I searched Honda brackets and sifted through that onslaught.
