Depends on an oval head, or round. Best bet is to go to a cyclegear or a local shop that has a large selection of skid lids to try on....good luck

Shoei x12 flat black, more delicate than the frost black arai rx7 that i gots. Have a bunch of retired arais on the shelf. Will buy another shoei for sure though. All my old arais cracked various plastic trim parts in their service life :frusty: flop side - excellent customer service.

Arai Signet-Q for me - had it professionally fitted by Brendan at Libby's Motowornld in CT - fits my head perfectly and all-day comfortable. Pricey but well worth it.

Poop, just heard my helmet won't be allowed on a the track, all though it's older it doesn't meet the 2015 guidelines that are in place, even the track marshal felt mine was fine, but nope they won't let me on the track with it. POOP! So now I'm looking at my options OML.. SMH I tell ya lots to go over, I'm disappointed that Shoei seems to have dropped the ball here, especially on their graphics, where's an X12 when you want one, SMH. RF1200 Hmm ??? between sizes, So now I'm looking at Arais, but whoa sticker shock. I get that one gets what they pay for and what's your head worth. Still Whoa..

I started out with an Arai which was fantastic, I'd like to get another one some day because as far as fit and finish it was the best I've tried. I currently am using a 2010 Bell Star which I like a lot. The ventilation is excellent and changing the screen out is simple. (I never got the trick to changing the visor on the Arai)

A few friends race in Nexx XR2 and I picked up one a few years ago to try on track days. Very comfortable, great ventilation, quick change visor system (though nothing beats Shoei on their system) great protection, large vertical field of view which is nice while hanging off and trying to look down track, and they are extremely light weight.
