    mj8411,

my apologies - wasn't trying to put words in your mouth! really like that the bike pulls harder above 6900rpm's, and your statement that your gas mileage wasn't as bad as initially thought. definitely think it'll be a pipercross (unless stock filter is better), PCV, and a slip-on (but hoping for a full system as mentioned above). I can't see that link, must be something with the military firewalls. can anyone give me the gist of it?

According to the guy doing my tune, the stock air filter is actually better, performance wise, compared to aftermarket. I'm not sure how big the difference is but I'm sticking with the stock filter; you just have to remove the screen. And for the link, that is a discussion on the other VFR forum about a company that is finally developing a full exhaust and is currently testing it so hopefully we should see them up for sale this year.

Thank you, yes my K5 1000, was in FastBikes magazine, twice. They did a track test and road test, on my K5 and did a 5 page right up, the test rider said, its the best K5 he has ever ridden, he said a well sorted Gixer. I got the dry weight down to 158kls, which was not bad. :smug:

Is that a dry or wet weight?! Either way that is impressive. Beautiful bike.

Tyga is maybe making a limited run of multi-piece headers for the earlier gen's. Making a set of front tubes for the 8th gen is TBD.

Hey Knight, I'd love to follow the url, however, as previously stated, I'm currently deployed and the military firewalls won't let me access the story, unfortunately...

I just installed a PCV on my VFR800 and I am loving it. Did you install the auto tuner as well? I have one and I have not installed it yet. I think I am going to have to drill and tap out the existing O2 sensor bung not a big deal just haven't got started on it yet she is my daily ride.
