the flying buttresses are gone. The new bed is 5' wide and 5'4" long, should be able to stuff a sports bike back there diagonally with the tail gate up.

Yes the original Ridgelines that I see on Craigslist are, due to the flying buttress as you called it, extraordinarily awkward looking.

There is a challenge in getting trucks into many garages and perhaps that is why Honda does not lengthen a standard bed to fit all of their bikes. That would certainly be a great symbiotic pair, as you have pointed out.

For moving musical instruments and the VFR, I have been considering an early 2000's Tacoma from down south or with a recall-replaced frame. A Tundra is a possibility but for a primary vehicle, the smaller the better.

I don't think he's gay because not once did I hear him talk about his latest litter of rare, expensive, pure pedigree, cream puff colored kittens.

Ooops.. I thought a flying buttress was a shemale with a pilots license.

Knight ain't figured oot that the dude who may be gay is really an actor and the blurb is an ad that probably had a budget of many pesos.

Pretty short bed too. Not made for hauling a Rune around.

A few things. I wonder what the GVW is of that truck. Also, I also wonder how far forward they had the driver's seat adjusted before buddy got into that back seat area. I remember my old man having a Pontiac Safari wagon that had a two way opening tail gate. That was a great feature for a car. I think it is great for the truck too.

I just don't think it is big enough for me. I haul an RV, get sand earth and gravel often enough. And need a wider box to pick up sheets of cabinet plywood. It looks like that 5 feet they speak of is over top those low wheel wells. That won't do for me.

Nice truck though. Wife has had several Honda Civic and we have always been happy with them.

It's still a Honda Pilot with the back hacked off and is 95% FWD 99% of the time. If you want a truck get a truck not a want-a-be plastic 1/2 bread.

This stance is similar to the mental defect that affects Harley Davidson buyers "it's gotta have dem push rods and loud pipes or it ain't a motorcycle! I don't trust dem der plastic rice burners!" I'd say truck buyers are the 2nd most ridiculous vehicle consumer market in the US.

    Try reading this article objectively.

It's still a joke, that ain't no stinkin truck not to mention a 4x4. One would think as deep as Honda is in the vehicle making, they could come up with one that's top notch, not a civic minded piece like this. SMH. but then Honda has gone backwards in a lot of areas so whats the surprise yeye.

LOL.. I can envision another ad of a soccer mom pushing a Wing up a ramp into the bed of that Honda rig.

All this time I thought Daytona was for harleydoods.

Funny you should say that, I have not been back to Daytona for bike races in about 8 years. Last time I went for the 200 the town was overrun with Harley's. And none went to the fucking motorcycle races! It has turned into a giant "Look at me!!" festival of leather vests and noise. Mr Daytona (Scott Russel) probably wants his name sake changed. Way back we would ride our bikes there (a lot of 2 strokes and it was a long way on those beasts) and enjoy a weekend of MOTORCYCLE culture and racing. Chinese HD clothing is the theme these days.

I work part time at a Honda dealership, and I agree with most of your comments because it not meant to be a work horse like the real pick-ups. I had a Ford F150 4X4 at my last job, and it was a great TRUCK. With All-Wheel-Drive the Ridgeline is unique, it's like a Pilot that is more useful for occasional hauling. There is a Ford dealership across the street, and I saw an F350 dualie for $70 K, you buy a vehicle for your needs.

Is this supposed to prove something? I mean there's a photo of some POS sedan at a home depot with hundreds of pounds of lumber strapped to the roof.
