Are the rims on the 6th Gen the same from 2002 to 2007? I want to pick up a spare set for my 2007 and was wondering if there are any differences between the years.

All Gen. 6 wheels are interchangeable. I'm pretty sure Gen. 5 wheels are the same as those on the Gen. 6, too.

Gen. 6 wheels have come in three colors: semi-gloss black, silver, and flat black on the tri-color '07.

I don't know where you plan on buying a spare set of wheels, but if it's from the dealership, you're going to be paying major bucks.

An alternative is being lucky enough to find a totalled Gen. 6 VFR whose wheels came out okay. This is what I've been trying to do and haven't had much luck. There's nothing wrong with my semi-gloss black wheels, but I'm trying to find some silver ones. It's just a preference thing. Best of luck to you.

The 07 is a 6th gen, just in case you were not sure, and yes all 6th gen wheels should be interchangeable, like Red said. If you want new, try Service Honda ( http://www.servicehonda.com ), they generally have the lowest prices around.

Going through Honda, it is $350 for the front rim and $320 for the rear. It looks like that it also includes the bearings and internals as well. Not that this is cheap, but I was expecting the prices to be higher.

I haven't bought them yet. I'm still going to try to find a used set of rims first and if I can't come up with a set, then I'll go new. I want to powdercoat the rims white. I think they would look great on my '07 RWB and it would match my other two '86 Interceptors.
