I grabbed a replacement at a local hardware store. I lost mine during a spirited riding session.

Taking internet OCD to the next level this one does!

PS that is a very cool use of an unused hole Cadbury.

From memory, I bought a plastic plug for a garden irrigation system (19mm maybe?) did a little creative knife work to make it fit nicely, then drilled a couple of holes through the top to make a snug press fit for the spade terminals on the back of the voltmeter. The voltmeter just pushes into these holes, then I ran the wires up through the steering stem and plugged into the back of the cap, with a bit of rubber hose around them to protect from chafing. I did it this way so I could quickly mount the meter without drilling any holes in the fascia.

The voltmeter is powered off the battery terminals, through a relay and fuse, the relay is powered off the taillight feed.

Cadbury, not being picky but what is the purpose of the relay, as you say you have powered the relay from the taillight feed, all you needed to do was connect this wire to the voltmeter, this gives you a voltage reading and it is already fused on the lighting circuit. Earth to anywhere on the frame

Talk about leaving the comments "wide open" on that one!

    But I digress...Slick work, Cadbury.

I wanted a direct to battery reading unaffected by other loads on a circuit.

Perhaps next we can debate the pros and cons of removing the rear axle plug on SSS models :xxx:
