VFR.jpg So here's my 86 almost done. Deciding on which emblems to put on then it will be complete. Re-jetted carbs, - one, up two on the gearing are the only performance mods, shaved the rear signal mounts and mounted small signal lights. Bull dogged the stock pipes two inches just to make the ear look not so fat. Lastly I painted bright white with platinum pearl with clear coat. 71,000 miles with no oil leaks, doesn't smoke, starts right up even when its 25F in the garage. I have a spare low mileage motor and suspension so I hope to be on this (along with my ZRX1200) until my seventies. Eleven more knock on wood! Sorry about the image new computer!

Strange, your location doesn't say Australia but that picture sure makes it look like it...

After turning my monitor into the right viewing angle (easier than standing on my head at my age) I've concluded that that is indeed a very nice looking bike!

The "Swedes" have an extremely good sense of humour. My say that your gona ride only those two bikes into your dotage is wrong. I could say that i have the gen 3 vfr and ninja 500 markets cornered and wont get another "new" bike but i wont. Cheers

So noone else has fixed yet lol

    VFR.jpg

I think all it needs is a wing logo on the tank personally.

I know it just had HONDA on the tank from the factory, but there is no denying the power of the wing!

Sometimes it is nice to see the bike without all the decals and stuff.
    Minimalist look.jpg

Well. Maybe that is a little too much on the minimalist side. But seriously. The bike freshly painted and no badging can look quite nice. Here is mine just after I installed all the plastics the day I got them back from the paint shop. Paint was all new and scratch free. I was on my way to load it onto my truck to take it in to get my new decal kit put on. Dropped the guddam thing. Off the ramps. But it fell on me so I guess I broke its fall among other things. (ribs)

Anyways. After seeing how elegant the bike looked with no badging on it at all, I just about cancelled the decals I ordered.
