Its called California stop, well thats slowing alittle but on a one way road WHY?.....he got off throttle, thats good enough.
Since there's Krail maybe those stops are prone to falling dirt and rocks.

I am not sure of the reason for the stop signs other than the message that reads: "SLIDE AREA Proceed when Passable", I assume these are cautionary stops. There are I think 3 along the way but since there is no cross traffic or opposing traffic, plus the lack of law enforcement, I didn't think a stop was necessary. Who knows, maybe some law enforcement officer will see this and come knocking at my door now!

Installed the Screaming Banshee dual air horn on my 2006 yesterday. Maintains the original horn for the quick toot, but hold that button down and all hell breaks loose, with flashing high beams. They have the instructional video on-line for a 2006 - they make it look so simple.... But I'll tell you, getting that bracket fabbed for the tight fit within the left fairing (non-ABS) took a long time.

First trial blast in the garage sounded great. The wife came out and told me not to do that again as it freaked out the dogs.
Hehehe - yup ...just what I wanted ;-)

Nice! I remember when this was a funded project, they had quite the deal. I never jumped on it at the time but wish I did. I ended up just getting a cheaper solution but still better than the road runner "meep-meep" horns we get!

If you're at all interested in more pics of these 2 strokes, their photos are on Rock Store Photos web site.

That two-stroke made me remember something. Back in the late 1990s, during the Dotcom and Telecom frenzy, I had a couple of friends that were pulling down large bucks in their respective industries. They are also first class motorcycle nuts like me. The fact that they had way more money than me did not dent our friendship and it only meant that they more bikes than I had. They had so many bikes, in fact, that they had rented a warehouse over by Dallas Love Field airport to store them all.

One Saturday I got a call from my friend. He wanted me to come down and try out a couple of bike he had just received. He wouldn’t tell me what they were but he said it would be worth my while. When I got there I found a blue Suzuki RG500 Gamma and a Black Vincent Series D Rapide sitting out front. These were the bikes he offered to let me sample (he was such a good friend!) I took the Gamma out first. I had heard tails of their fierceness and I really wanted to sample that bike. I was not disappointed. The bike weighed next to nothing. It crackled and made all the wonderful noise and smells of a two stroke. Riding it was another matter. Below 6 grand it had as much power and pep as a moped. But twist it’s ear and get the tack needle swinging past 7000 and it became a whole different animal. My time was primarily spent in heavy traffic on some pretty bad roads but it was really fun. It's still on my list of bikes to own, if I ever have any disposable income.

The Vincent was just so different after the little Suzuki. It was a heavy, low revving torque monster. It felt a bit like a Harley with a hinge in the middle called a suspension. As with the Suzuki I was negotiating traffic and in the case of the Vincent I was riding something that was worth more than my annual salary. It also didn't have much in the way of braking. I'll have to admit that it was fun but I was terrified the whole time.

On the 86 i got the rear brakes all rebuilt and done, front calipers done and the master partially done(still mounting a new sight window). Got the carbs back together, need to leak down test em before mounting em, but i'm hoping they are good. Any advice on ATF for the forks? I kind of want to do the fork seals before finishing the front brakes since those will have to come off and be hung out of the way too.

Took the 96 to a local state park on a nice day we had recently, well my buddy did will i drove his versys. Fun times.

I read my odometer correctly today! It doesn't have 81K, only 8K!!!

Probably a little stoned when I read it the first time (read: absolutely stoned). Called the previous owner to see if it actually had 108K but nope, 8137.5 original kilometers. He said he layed it over around 7K and got gun shy then bought an R6 several years later when his wife was pissing him off and he needed out of the house. His asthma kicked in pretty heavy right around then and he buggered his back which makes me wonder what condition that bike is in too. I offered to redo his kitchen tile for the R6 and he's having a think on it.

Which reminds me I REALLY need to transfer this title...

So I ended up going for a ride on Sunday after all and the replacement lens on the GoPro camera mage a big difference IMO. Also been playing around with the new editing software and came up with this video using the two cameras. Still have a way to go with the intricacies but I think I picked it pretty quick.

Nice OOTV, I watch several motovloggers and the vids are usually entertaining- but must say I don't love the bobblehead helmet views. I wish more of them would do hardmounts, or mixed views.

Front is always the most difficult, unless you're using rubber dampers there will usually be some amount of Jello.
Vibes are much tamer on the rearmount seems, no matter what the bike.

I have around 18 hours of video taken with a Mobius, got one standard lens, and one 135 degree wide. 80 bucks each and the quality is actually near GoPro for much less $. The form factor is also superior in many applications, I'm an RC pilot and that's why I bought them, very small and light.
