OK ... It know it looks like a new bike and all, but it's not THAT rare.

Typically 30 grand is about the going rate for a nice RC30.

+1 I've seen quite a few online going for about this price range. It's one of those bikes that someone really wanting one would paid big money for.

Too rich for my blood. If I was going to spend anywhere near that kind of coin, it would be on a brand new 8th gen and a complete new set of riding gear. Then I would have $10.k play money left over.

Well that's about the going rate converted to US that would be around $22,000

Yep, that looks to be pretty darn close to what they are fetching these days, some more , some maybe less, but not much. And yes they are getting a bit on the rare side. These aren't meant for daily driving, not even in the same context as what one would consider to use as a daily, maybe more like a nice day outing if, or a 3rd bike kinda thing. I have a friend here that has one, if it gets out once a year, that's a milestone moment.

It's not *that* expensive. Hell, a loaded Harley costs more than this and it's an archaic, useless, slow hunk of metal.

Wow .... I knew they were worth some coin, I didn't figure that high though.

I wonder what my VF1000FF will be worth once restored?

I saw the pics on the other thread and dude, that thing is sweet! That being said, I don't think you'll be approaching RC30 territory as far as value is concerned. Maybe in 15 years or so haha!

Haha, well, it's a bit of a different beast ... had it been a 1000R I suspect I might approach that territory since it would have gear driven cams and the updates.

True enough - I plan on keeping her around for a few years anyways. IF / when I do sell her - I'll be sure that it goes to someone who will appreciate it for what it is, and take good care of it so it can live on.
