I just replaced thermostat and hoses in my VFR and put the throttle body and Air Cleaner housing back together but I now have some connectors I don't recognize or remember undoing.

In the picture I have a connector on the right , white arrow , that i think is the Map Sensor 3P connector, it also has the ignition coil connectors attached. ( page 5-53 of the service manual , Diagram 2) is this correct.

in my picture, on the left , downward pointed arrow no fill color. its the same as the other 3p connector. I don't know what this identical connector is or where it plugs in . Can anyone tell me what that is and where it connects to on the bike? if they have a service manual reference that would be awesome.

    Thanks

It is hard to say where those connectors go. You took your bike apart further than I did (tank, coils, etc.) What year is your bike. I will check my service manual.

Mine is a 1999. 5th Gen. Corkey , I thought you had replaced the thermostat on yours which required you to take tank , air housing and throttle body out? It's a nightmare but i am doing it as part of a class. But now I am almost back together and have no Idea where this connector goes. I have a scan of the manual but cannot identify it.

I did replace all of the hoses and thermostat. It is possible to do the job without removing the tank, coils and/or disconnecting the throttle bodies, it is a little less work but requires a little more finesse.

It appears to be the MAP Sensor 3P Connector (5-14 of the Service Manual) and Throttle Position Sensor 3P Connector (5-20 of the Service Manual). Or possibly the ECT Sensor 3P Connector (5-18 of the Service Manual).
