Yup ... or rather I "HAD" that combo before my head-on collision with a semi this summer. That bike now ceases to exist.

That said, it's a great combo, but why didn't you get the smoke X-Creen? You'll need to play around with different positions to find what works best for you. Once you do, take a paint pen and mark the adjusters so it's fast for you to find that 'sweet setup' quickly from when you put the X-Creen down.

You'll find you'll get less bugs, less head shake, and it'll be a little quieter ... don't expect it to be like you're behind the bars of an ST1300 or GoldWing... it doesn't get rid of the airflow / turbulence, it just changes it and slows it.

I have a MRA Vario Touring on order for the new bike ... it's the full touring screen with the air foil already installed on top.

    Great purchase! You'll enjoy it!

It should help quite a bit ... but like I said, don't expect it to feel like you're behind the bars of a GoldWing. :)

I have the MRA Variotour and it absolutely rocks.

What you have looks an awful lot like mine, so I think you will be very happy with your setup.

I have the same set up on my 5 gen works great and a little trick I found this summer is when riding in the city I raise the Xcreen as high as it will go and direct it down so its parallel with the ground so the wind blowing up the givi is now directed towards my body so it stops the wind from going over my head and it flows directly at me keeping me cooler
