^ ok I'll make it worse now... I had it's cousin the infamous Hemi Cuda from 72-79. A kid walk in one day where i worked with more cash than I've ever seen, wanting the car, it was way more than I paid for it, so I let it go I mean who'd think an E body reduction gear mopar would ever by worth squat. DoH! so not only did I do this once, but twice.. 70 Hemi Cuda.jpg

I was in the market for one of those when I bought my first ever car back in 73. Problem is, in Winnipeg, back then, they imported cars from the Montreal area into Winnipeg and put a Macco paint job on them, sold them and they rusted out withing two years.

So I settled for this one Lemans 1.jpg Lemans 2.jpg

Three years later got this boat Cordoba.jpg

Had an assortment of other vehicles but hung onto the Ponch until 1992 and sold it for $150.00 more than I paid for it in 73. That's not bad. Wished I had kept it though. But it needed some work, and I didn't have the money to spend.

When I retired the first time around, I bought myself a fully loaded 2003 GMC Sierra Duramax. Has everything except for heads up display and a sliding rear window. Specifically did not want the window and the HUD was a real expensive option. Still drive that truck. It has fewer miles on it than my bike and is not pristine, but in excellent shape. Would like to get a brand new Sierra Duramax but can't say I need one. They are about $65K here and I would be lucky if i was able to sell mine for $15K, so I don't need it. Maybe in a couple years I will invest in a new paint job for the truck. Can't put my fingers on a photo of that right now.

Wifey sometimes lets me drive her 2011 Civic couple. That is a nice little car with lots of snap. At least it does when I drive it and she is not around.

Found a couple more pix. Had to dig deep for mediocre pix though.

Here's the truck when I first bought it and before I had the running boards put on. Second photo is parked with my wife's previous Civic, and 03, same year as the truck. Son has that now. Its a nice car too.

    trucktrailer.jpg truck and bike.jpg

And finally, I wouldn't mind driving either of these.

Sorry folks, my rides aren't as fancy as some of yours .... we have:

'09 Toyota Camry Hybrid (my wife's ride)

'99 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi (leaking oil through valve covers and ATF fluid, it's massive POS, two different exhaust tips ... all the weather stripping around the doors is shrunk / missing, half the interior controls don't work lol ... still a beast and my winter beater). I'll likely take the engine and transmission out when I'm done with it and look for a Pontiac Fiero donor car to build something bad ass with ... :)

'02 Toyota Highlander Limited (V6/AWD) (in the process of finishing rebuilding the engine)

I pretty much drive whatever I can find until I can get on the bike ... after that, it's all VFR as my main vehicle. :)

I have three great bikes in the garage but I drive a POS Mazda Protege (I don't understand. Is there a bigger Mazda called "The Mentor?") and I have a POS 2001 Ford F150 with a cracked windshield and windows that don't crank. (I don't take it to the bank or to get a drive through burger.) I let my daughter use the Protege and she returned it with a caved in left rear quarter panel. She said "I'm sorry daddy" so I guess it's OK. I am not really a car person. I feel like Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles ". . .Four fucking wheels and a seat." I do like a good radio but that's not really necessary.

    Happy wife, happy life.

A recent study shows that dudes with hot cages may be the same dudes that have VFRs that get 60 mpg or whatever that is in that funny math that uses all those big words.

Could you share this "everything else" thing? No pix please until this gets sorted oot by those in charge.

The rest is fine unless somebody like Jason Pridmore or even his dad shows up on a VFR.
