All you need is to powder coat those wheels white and I can guarantee that your VFR will be faster than the other colors. Trust me, I know.

its all about having the right stickers! The VFR 800 is not a speed deamon, but every time Ive had to climb steep hills, corner fast and dodge a trucker changing lanes on me its never left me hanging or indoubt of what it could do. its your choice, but if you want raw speed consider a bike that makes its sales on that alone.

OP fires off question five years back. I have seen "Back to the Future" sixteen times and I still can't channel Grandma even with the mach 1 91 at full tilt.

The pearl white 2006 vfr is by far the fastest v4 ever produced. Just ask any squid or stunted from LA bout white lighting...

I suppose one could get a BMW K1300S if you wanted a fast sport tourer. Or a turbocharged Busa with Helibars, or a tuna. Yeah, I got nothin. How about this weather we're having, huh? Did you see the game last night? Is JL sleeping with MM? Did Rossi get cheated? Did the 700,000+ signatures actually do anything?

Did we really land on the moon?

I can say for sure that my Gen 6 will do 250kph or 155mph.

its pretty close to stock. but I did have it fully loaded traveling around Aust, so could possible do more but I don't think you would see 280kph/175mph

Sure you could see an INDICATED 175MPH. If you put a -1/+3 sprocket kit on there lol.

If you are getting that reading from your speedo, you are off by about 25 - 30 kmb over actual speed. Experience spoken.

Proof could also come in the form of a ticket. One is usually sufficient.

Im guessing that the rolling diameter of the stock tire setup is set that the speedo is reading faster that what you are actually traveling.
