"They" fire every gun before it leaves their facility. This is to examine the projectile and analyze the unique rifling pattern to aid in investigative purposes. In case the firearm is ever used in commission of a crime or otherwise needs to be tracked down.

I'm thinking this pistol is probably striker-fire, and not a revolver or single-action. In other words...... it's a lady gun.

Gold plated? Sometimes, I wish that I too could just go through life spouting off nonsensical BS and acting like it made sense. Just messing with you about the striker fire stuff though. I just prefer an old school single-action.

The striker fired Glock has a long and extremely reliable history. It approached near %70 usage in US law enforcement at one time, though it is a little less these days as there are very good offerings form other manufactures especially S&W with their M&P series. I carried a G 27 for about 10 years and just recently (3 years) use a S&W Shield, I like the little manual safety on it that I can flick off while drawing. And its a little smaller. Ask Plexico Burris how easily a AD can happen with a Glock.

Ok, this is a great post for VFR riders. Let me put this into perspective. The Taurus PT111 to shoot a skunk, but it has a plastic thing in it? As a Canadian with no access to weapons, aside from Mrs. Palm and her 4 daughters, I recommend a Flamethrower. Hope this helps.
