What do you think you do that helps ride long distances.

Here that's no problem. The roads in Cleveland urban area are terrible. Often I find myself up on the pegs absorbing the shock with my legs instead of my seat. It is very annoying until I get home and the legs are burning nicely from the workout.

 

You must be an Eastsider. Us on the west side have nice roads to run on..............................................lol

 

South neighborhood of Cleveland proper. In all directions the road is like a picket fence. As soon as you see the suburb sign, the road magically clears up, LOL.

What if that is a bicycle lane? What we really need are lanes for trucks, RV's , ATV's, motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades and pedestrians . If the pedestrians are wearing red, it's double points.

I wasn't sure if Randy was referring to the sidewalk, the only intact thing around here and incidentally the only part that I am responsible for, or if he was talking about the fresh black splotches of pothole filler everywhere. I figured, eh, technically he's correct in either case.

I have bifocals. Glenlivit 18 for reading and Highland Park 25 for distance.

 

Most of the grass in CA is being sold in Colorado, Washington and Oregon.

Back on topic I remember another prep I used when one knows they're going for a good 400+ mile ride for maybe a few days in a row. Start eating better a couple days before hand. That and make sure you poop. nothing worse than being backed up after a great ride. only to know there's a lot more miles to go.
