greetings from ireland

greetings fellow vfr buddies/girlbuddies. just following site suggestions and introducing myself. 39 yr old dublin biker with 1997 vfr 750 (selling) and 2002 vtec. fantastic bikes, love the ride handling styling reliability power etc etc. pics to follow, regards noz, aka conor.

that was for the "glorious twelfth" when northern ireland protestants commemmorate the battle of the boyne. there was a bon fire on the news abot 6 times bigger than that one.

 

Wow. that would be a good picture to add next year... jeepers.

 

MY best friend recently moved to the states from Ireland. He lived in County Kerry. Is that very far from you?

 

kerry is about 200 miles from dublin on the southern most tip of ireland. it has some of the most beautiful scenery to be found in ireland with rugged mountains (irelands highest mountain CARRANTOUHILL 3000+ feet) and towering cliffs. ask him what it would be like to ride the vfr over the CONNOR PASS. regards, conor.

 

He speaks of Ireland all the time. He is an American with Irish blood. He had to move back to the states when the Euro exchange rate cut his U.S. pension/retirement income in half. As you know, he was not allowed to work in Ireland and earn an income because he is not an Irish citizen. He is a musician, playing mondolin and guitar. He was able to play for some money (under the table) at some of the local pubs. He hopes to be able to take me to Ireland one of these days for a visit. I hope we can. He says the scenery and the people are of the best in the world!

 

and you sir. have a friend in san fran who rides a sv650 but i tried to convert him to the vfr on recent trip to ireland, liked it but prefers the lighter bike.
