What would be a reasonable price for a 06 Non ABS with about 3500miles?
Also, What kind of soft luggage works good? I know Cortech makes great tail, saddle bags. How about a tank bag that is NOT magnetic?
What kind of service costs would I expect. I believe the Valve check is every 16K miles. Changing Oil a problem? Other maintenence concerns?
Passenger comfort, seat upgrades (I think Sargent over Corbin on this one)

Performance modifications. I know the VFR is rated around 100hp, is there any mods to bump it up another 10hp or so? (no nitros or turbo).

Thanks for any help. I have enjoyed reading the past threads.

I just got an '07RWB new for 11,800 otd. The oil change requires removal of the body work on the left side. It's a little tricky the first time but, not too bad once you've done it a time or two. Other than that, just ride the wheels off of it.:thumb:

Thanks Eddie! I think it would be a breeze to ride and make a great around town bike. However, I don't know how it will do for long distance trips (i.e. 2K miles in a week.) My guess It would be terrific but not so good on the interstate.

How is the wind protection from the fairing? Where does the wind "Hit you". How well does the fairing protect your legs?

I just rode my '07 on a 605 mile trip in 2 days and found it more comfortable than I'd expected. I had planned to ride my Honda ACE cruiser on this trip because it was mostly interstate, but an unforseen incident kept that bike out of action for about 3 months. The bike was flawless. Couldn't ask for any better. The seat was a little hard after about 100 miles, but I got used to it preety quickly, and the rest of the trip was great. The faring provides some protection from the wind. The wind hits me just above center of the helmet, but no wind on my chest. I'm 6'0" so I may sit a little taller in the seat than some, but not much. The bike cuts the wind from passing a semi better than any bike I've ever had. It is rock solid at 80+mph on the interstate. I was very surprised at the ride quality when hitting those dreaded angled bridges. It has PLENTY of power when you need to get out of the way, and tons of brakes when you have to bow it up. As far as bags go I use a Cortech tail bag on a rack I made. A picture of it is in my photo gallery if you want to see what it looks like on the bike. The only problem I found on the interstate was boredom, and tons of it. It works so well you'll want to run 100+mph, but the po-po will be more than glad to issue you a driving award (if they can catch you). I had a cop ask me (at a red light)
"How fast is that thing, anyway?" to which I answered "Faster than that Crown Victoria." He just grinned.:nono:
