Want to say hello to all. Been browsing around here for about a week and like what I've seen. No time like now to be part of it. I will say that I've always had a weakness for the VFR. Had a Super Hawk about 15 years ago and enjoyed it but found myself a bit envious anytime I'd see/hear the VFR out n' bout. Did the MX thing for quite some time, called it quits 10 years ago. I was to the point of "no more bikes" until recently. Went back to work for a dealership I was at 17 years ago and low and behold.............I saw it. A used '06 with a whopping 5040 miles on it. Needless to say, I purchased it.

Now I just have to leave it at work for a couple of weeks and kind of ease the wife into it. Was still in the discussion stage when I pulled the trigger on it. I simply didn't want to have to go through the let down of someone coming in buying it before me. Selfish......I'm well aware.
Thank you for letting me be a part of this.

Welcome to The Worl HK SBR! Good call on waiting to tell the wife, easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I had purchased and had my 01 in my garage for a couple of weeks before I let the wife know I had yet another mistress. Also saved yourself some grief here too by posting a pic!

    Cheers

Welcome, it is good to have you here.

Is that your work with the bikes lined up, and the boats, and I presume jetpacks as well? Pretty cool place.

That is the work place, we sell just about everything. Trying to get back in the groove with part numbers and such..........6 different manufacturers.

Exactly my thinking! Will have exhaust installed as well before it ever comes home. "It came that way, previous owner put that on there", this is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Hiding your bike LOL. I had a friend back in my high school days who bought an old Indian in the middle of winter. Probably against his mom's wishes or at least he feared that. He buried it in the snow in the back yard. Wonder what happened in the spring when the snow melted. Come to think of it, wonder what ever happened to him.

    Welcome to the World.

It all sounds good in my head, but my better half simply knows me too well. It's all probably a little suspicious that I spend as much time as I do browsing the internet for everything VFRness. Same 'ole story for me no matter what I get involved in..........well focused tunnel vision. I'm just looking forward to getting back on a bike.

I will definitely post some picks of the "delivery day". Don't know about the black frames, I may just spend some time on the fiche today.

The black frame was only on the 2007 25th Anniversary edition and the '09 models. At least that is the onlt two I am aware of, maybe it's different in other regions other than the U.S.
