Checking in as a new member. Been riding over 45 years on one machine or another and done some amateur racing along the way as well. I have owned two VFRs. A 1985 which I let go two years ago (and have regretted every since) and my current machine is a 2007 25th anniversary model with power commander, leo vince exhaust, heli bars, double bubble wind screen and sergeant old man seat.

Welcome to the madness Bob. I bet riding around Hawaii is at least 3x the thrill of riding stateside. Maybe some day for me!

Thanks for the welcome. Riding on Big Island is crazy better than anywhere else I've been riding. Not so many cages on the road and it's always fairly warm. Even riding in the rain isn't bad here. Looking forward to getting good info on this site.

Welcome to The World Bob! Been to the Big Island a few times but never ridden a bike on the island. The wife and I did renew our vows on Secret Beach back in 2008, which is the last time I was there, love the islands, it's our favorite vacation spot. Ride safe and Aloha!
