Hi everyone! I've been lurking and lusting here for almost a year. I finally got my first VFR yesterday. It has to be one of the cleanest 5Gs around. Got it from an ultra-cool guy in FL who treated it like his own child and rode it back to GA. There is not much left for me to do to it since it already has Sargent seat, power commander and D&D exhaust. However, I do want to get rid of the cat and probably switch the gearing back to stock to keep away the buzzies at 80mph and maybe gain a couple mpg. He dropped a tooth front and rear. Other than being tired from a 10 hour bus ride followed by a 6 hour bike ride in a thunder storm at night, I'm happy as a clam! Thanks Jon if you are still reading here.

Nice Looking bike. Welcome to the family. BTW, have those fairings been replaced/repainted? They don't have the VFR Interceptor stickers on them.

Nope. Everything is original. The previous owner just removed the stickers. He would have removed the one on the tank too if it weren't under the clear coat. I like it that way. Adds to the double-take quotient.

I was fortunate to get a creampuff too in May of 06. Only had 4500 miles on it! Mine has the TwoBros full race exhaust on it and that is it! Need to get a PCIII in the future.

The bike looks really clean! Congrats. Welcome. It's great to enjoy the hunt for a new bike - looks like you've made a nice kill.

Don't know if it's the picture, or what, but the business side of the wheels look kinda shiny... be careful with the armor-all/tire dressing if you didn't already know. You don't want slippery stuff on the rubber - even the sides of the tire as it is slippery, for a long time.
