No, then they would have to do a movie about me, 'The 60 year old virgin'.

Looks like I got lucky with this bike, it's always a gamble, but cold compression readings are 150,150,150,160 psi.

Done for now except a tune-up which will happen after riding season is over. Runs and drives good.

Fixed big tank dent (crushed right front)
    replaced shift lever
straightened out bent foot shifter rod
repainted: lower cowl, kickstands, chain covers, mirrors, tank where dent pulled out
did gravity feed mod (removed fuel pump)
    new drive chain
re-attached windscreen with black allen heads

Wow that brought back some memories. I spent many evenings with my nose pressed against the glass of my local Honda store back in 1985, gazing at a new VF500F through the window. It was exactly the same colour as yours, although with the comstar wheels rather than the cast wheels that the US got. I bought it and loved it to bits. Wished I had it still! Enjoy yours.

That does look awesome, KR. Yes, keeping it is a great idea. I had a 1986 VF500 I rode for 16 years and LOVED it. Always think I should have kept it... It was such a good machine. Have fun on that cool 500. There are fewer around these days. Laker

15000. Rode it 3 times today to get a feel for it and listen for any tuning bugs. Who am I kidding? I just couldn't keep off of it .

It is light and agile like my old '74 CL450 except with REAL pull and handling for its size.

Welcome to the V4 ! I have owned a VF500 very similair to yours. It was so agile and flickable around town. It is very light bike. Meanwhile I have owned a VFR750 for about 10 years. I love it. I just can't justify moving on to a different bike.
