1986 & 1987 Factory Colors ?

Hello Everybody,
I want to paint my 87 vfr700f2 a differant color and right now its the factory Blue with Gray and im not so hot on those colors so I want to know what colors were offered for the 86 - 87 VFR700F OR VFR750F, everywhere ? I know in 86 there was White with Blue and Red, and i think pearl White ? and 87 pearl White, and the Blue with Gray, but where there more colors or what color would look good ? any idea's thanks (speed)

 

Mine has stock -87 color, the stock wheels was silver also.

-87 also came in red, read seat also and whit white wheels in some countrys..

 

Why stay with the "stock" colors? They'll only be "stock" if they were on your bike from the factory. If your gonna spend the cash for paint why not go orginal? Of course I'm a little partial to custom paint... just my 2 cents.

 

I dont mind changeing colors thats why i said (what colors would look good) ?
I have been thinking about (corvette yellow) or black ? however i think that i read on this site that there were colors like yellow,red,black in the bush down under ? hey give me some ideas please ?

 

Look up "House of Kolor" on google... They are the best paint you can buy and they also have every shade and color known to man. When I redid the paint on my 86 I was looking at mainly the pearl paints until I decidied on the black w/blue pearl and blue/silver marble... It took me three months to decide on the colors I wanted. The yellow pearl (where the white is now), and a pearl black (where your strips are) would look really good. Use the House of Kolor "Flow clear" clear coat, it makes the paint look wet all the time...

 

not to be too terribly biased, but check out the transformation of mine. I have had a ball completely changing the original look. it was pearl with gold and black striping, factory colors. now it is silver and black, or almost anyway. i just got it done a week ago and already i have had many comments from friends and strangers who think it's newer. of course you may want to keep the vintage look....

 

OK I made up my mind i want 2003 z06 corvette yellow , with a black seat and i am not sure if black or whith decals ? what do you think ? also i want a set of spoke cbr wheels and have them chromed ? but what years will fit ?

ya know i have never seen a yellow 87 vfr ? and i love yellow ?
