Hi. There are 17" 1988 Honda Hurricane wheels on Ebay right now. Would anyone here recomend swapping these rims for the stock 1986 wheels? Would the bike handle better? It seems like the ride angle might change and you'd need a new rear shock setup. Other than more tire choice are there advantages?

    Thanks

I'm running the same front on mine, but, since I was racing it at the time, I didn't set it up for the speedo. Just made new spacers to fit the bearings. The rear should be OK, as long as the tire height is the same or larger, which it should be with a wider tire. The aspect ratio will be lower, but with the wider width should be close to stock.

If you mean a 600 hurricane, the front is a straight mach, and a 110/80-17 will the correct size
