My chain wear indicator sticker on the chain guard is missing. Is there another way to measure how much stretch I have left until I need to change the chain/sprockets? I couldn't find anything in the manual.

MIne was missing as well on my 93. I changed mine when I started having to adjust it what seemed like every other day.

Stock chains will go around 20K miles. Another hint that the chain is toast is to look at the spocket teeth. If they are starting to look more rounded and less pointy - it's time to do the replacement job.

Also - pull on the chain half way up the travel of the back sprocket. if you see more than half a tooth then it is time to switch them out

So far, 2 months and 3k miles in, the worst part of my 06 VFR is the chain adjustment marks... common Honda... a paper sticker on the plastic chain guard to compare the tops of the sprocket teeth? you can't do better?
