I have a 1994 750, can you help me find some relatively low cost options for a top case/box mounting and top case? Most of what I see from searches are for the 3rd Gen VFR.

I have a high mount stain-tune exhaust preventing the use of my soft side bags. I'm contemplating riding to Daytona Bike Week in March. :smug:

    Thanks You!

I have a givi wing rack 2 on my 94 with 41ltr. cases on the side and a 46ltr. on top, but don't have my high mount on yet. Somebody just showed a pic of there 5th gen with side cases and high mount on here.

I picked up a JCWhitney Top Case for forty inexpensive dollars. Yes, it fits a full face motorcycle helmet. It also comes with a locking/detachable bottom bracket and two keys for the lock.

Now I need a mounting bracket/frame. I will use this thread to document mounting the cheapest top case on the market onto the rc36.

So far my best option is the GIVI 242F top case support brackets in this link for $75.

Using the Givi brackets, I will have to figure out how to mount the JCWhitney topcase bottom bracket onto the givi bottom bracket, but I'm sure at the end of the day I will have a working solution.

    Additionally:
The Givi Universal Monorack looks compelling due to its universal fit but it is $161.

I already bought a hard top case...

Also I want to be able to carry a passenger and have top case. Tail section fairing too weak for soft bags and I have a high mount staintune.

Well damn then. Never seen that version on a 4thgen, not saying they are not around, but the style of container was developed after the 4th I believe, not saying there's no after market, just never came across one. Hate to say it, it could be a one of, meaning being made. you're right the rear tail on a 4th gen isn't all that heavy duty, never was ment to handle this application. so I question this, one might need to look at another machine if it's that big a deal. That was one thing Honda didn't design the 4th for, two up packing gear. it's at it's limits with a passenger. or no passenger and gear having both will be a challenge only you will be able to say it's worth it.

Yeah about it being worth it and load capacity being maxed out. I'm honestly thinking to save the effort and get a new bike that can handle my intentions like the fj09.
