The GP ride is an amazing ride, just a sea of bikes as far as you can see in all directions

 

Yeah we managed to do the sheene ride ro leongatha and then bailed ahead to the osland and waited with a refreshing bevvy and watxhed them fo past. Then caught up and rode around the track with everyone. Awesome weekend.

 

After we leave the BSA Club we usually head down into Gippsland towards Leongatha and stop at some small town country pub for lunch and then wander our way back home to Melb

 

Nice! I just started new thread for this ride so hopefully more will join.

1988 VFR750, black, daily ride in Melbourne. Currnelty off the road for its second repair in 2 years due to side swipe by car.

 

Bit cold to be riding every day in Melb, but I guess I used to when I was a working man. Heated grips certainly help

 

Yes, it gets a bit cold. Heated grips are on the list for next winter. Using the bus at the moment, but once I repair the fairing and repaint, I will be back on again.

 

I just heard on the news Frankston had its coldest morning in 18 years. My second pair of Oxfords recently buggered up so I'm getting the next set from China for about $20, that way I can buy half a dozen sets for the price of the Oxfords and at the end of the day Oxfords are probably made in China but sold with an English price tag

Picked up my 2006 VFR 800 in December 2014 from Brisbane and moved to Darwin in January 2015.
The VFR has 40,000klm on it, Honda top box & Honda panniers. Just fitted a Delkevic exhaust system which sounds great but seems to have upset my fuel consumption. Otherwise everything else is stock standard. Bike has been well maintained prior to my purchase.
