Bad gas is part of the reason my vfr runs shitty.

If you have problems with your rear end, you can probably adapt one of those donut cushions to fit your bike.

I can't help SOW with the voices coming from his gas tank but my buddy Rich of Rich's seats has been installing gel pads in seats for years. Just the ticket for those ol bad ass blues.

The gel pad material is the same stuff used in hospitals in beds where the patients are confined to bed for long periods. This I think does not apply to padded rooms or straighjackets for hearers of voices from any sort of fuel tanks.

 

my sargent seat uses atomic foam, so my riding ass is doing fine- I put a little heet in today and stabil just a little. it was the red heet bottle with FI cleaner too-two birds with one stone. I am waiting for my push pins, I got new fastners then I put denso plugs in and was pipercross air filter. I think my slow idle problem might fix itself if I do asll that if not. I will get a wax unit and let the shop put that basterd in. A little bit a time makes for a great bike, my vfr will last 20 years or more, so I am happy to make many many more posts for the next 20 years:fish:

Have you tried ethanol-free gas? Here I can get it at a hardware store that sells it for yard equipment, or at the marina.
It is a little more expensive than the ethanol stuff bit worth it in the long run.

I go to Africa, I can hunt Troll and then mount it on my fireplace so all my friends can drink scotch and laugh at the silly troll all for the price of $2 a head. Bargain basement rate because a troll is totally worthless.:hungry:

Shame on you guys for not telling SOW about the recall on those Nippon-Denso plugs. No wonder his bike won't run. I hope he changes them out before his engine blows. After all, he is a treasured member of our little club. Well maybe not the US, Canadian and OZ chapters but most of the rest I think.
