I have a 98 and recently i've been blowing the 10A fuse that controls turn signal flash, horn and the brake light.
i wasn't sure if anyone else has experienced this and had some words of wisdom before i start tearing eveything apart looking for what i'm guessing is a bare or broken wire.

with a new fuse everything works for a while and i thnk a bump or some kind of vibration causes it to blow after riding for a while.

    thanks

sounds like that circuit has a short in it. Look for exposed wires, corroded connections, and wires that mey be ribbing together causing it to ground out an dblow the fuse.

You've probably solved the problem, but it sounds like the old 'brake lever assembly switch shorting out on the handlebar' problem. Just loosen off the brake assembly clamp and put some electrical tape on the handlebar to stop it shorting out. Often occurs when the brake lever angle position is adjusted to suit the rider. Happened to my '98 VFR (information passed on by its previous owner, my brother in law, who recounted his tale of woe when the fuses kept blowing). Applying the tape fixed the problem. Anyway, this may help someone else so I'll post this message. Good luck.

good to know prodigal, I would've been searching for bare wire for weeks before I would've thought of that.

That should fix the problem. It's a very common occurrence when installing Helibars to have the brake light switch short out on the bars. Prodigalbiker is right on the money about moving the reservoir. You can "gently" bend the connecting pins away from the handlebar and tight up the connector ends with pliers.

My '83 Ceptor kept blowing the same fuse. I found I had a bad horn. It would blow at the slightest touch of the horn button.

It worked, but would blow the fuse. I just got another horn and never had any more trouble.
