I bought a gen7 in May and have 1700 miles on it now. It's the most fun I have ever had on two wheels. How many miles on your bike?

141,000 miles on a 5th gen. Bought the bike at 123,000. Still runs like a Swiss watch.

Hi all, I just got my 2015 VFR800 DLX last Wednesday evening and took it for a ride from Chicago, IL through Wisconsin. It only had a couple of miles on it the day I got in and now has 750 miles on it. What an awesome bike this is! Fast, easy to maneuver and a joy to ride. Thanks.. I don't believe there were any changes at all. I'm now looking for some frame sliders (not the ones from T-REX) that will offer some protection to the body without causing an obstruction.

191,915 km. (119,250 mi) on my 06. All mine. Or at least I was riding nearby for a few of them. There is a similar thread to this started a few years back.

That's impressive. What's the longest distance covered in a single day? Have you done any major engine work?

Thanks. I did a 1000 mile/24 hour Iron Butt Challenge last spring. I also rode straight through from Atascadero California to Chilliwack BC in spring of 2012. That was 1,164 miles according to Google. That was a 24 hour trip give or take as well. That one wasn't planned. I was just heading back home from an R3 BBQ. Was intending in stopping in Medford Oregon the first night, then maybe Olympia Washington the nest night and then home. But got to Medford and didn't fell like stopping, nor at the next city, or the next and so on. Stopped for breakfast in Bellingham Washington. Had a couple naps though. I nap on the bike often. Its an old age thing.

Bike has been better to me than I have to it. Two stators, a rectifier and I have lost track of chains and sprockets. Valves were shimmed at 50K km. Timing chain tensioners were changed at 109,000 km. The rest was routine maintenance or repairs to damage from a drop off the truck. Our so called free healthcare paid for the rib repairs.
