1st gen VF700/750 carb synch questions...

    How the heck do I get to the port for the #3 (right, rear) cylinder? It's behind the thermostat housing and engine mount plate. It looks like a solution would be to remove the triangle shaped engine mount plate that holds the thermostat housing. Just wondering if that's the way to do it. Service manual says nothing about it.

    Also, anyone know what size the ports are? I have vac gauges but need to buy some adapters to get from the ports to my vac lines.

    Removing the triangle bracket is the way I do mine. May be other methods, but worked for me
