Hello from Chesapeake VA...

    Hi I just got a yellow 2000 VFR800. Really love it so far. Just a question regarding the aluminum frame; were they all bare metal from the factory, mine is a flat black that came off pretty easily when I used some "Goof Off" to remove decal residue, I feel that some one painted it flat black as I have personnally never seen factory automotive paint come off when being cleaned with that prodict. I know its a solvent but its pretty weak.

    The only black frame models I am aware of are the 2007 RWB Anniversary Edition and the 2009 model, all others have been bare aluminum as far as I've seen.
