I retired my ST 1100 after 151,000 miles and got my 2004 VFR 800A 18 months ago. Due to 2 surgeries since I got it my riding time has been curtailed but did get in 11,000 miles and really like it. Put me down for 75 years old.

49 and loving my 2000 vfr. Still getting used to my 1200f but I'm sure I'll settle in just fine. I did 700 miles the first day and a half that I owned it. With nary a woe to tell. I suppose that's a pretty good sign. It took me quit a few months to learn to love my 2000 vfr.

I'll be 51 in September. Just picked my bike up a couple of months ago for commuting. Had a Katana 750 when I was younger. I now ride with MUCH more responsibility and have the same amount of fun:congratulatory:

In 2010, a 62 year old racer lost his life coming off the strait into turn 1. Although extremely tragic, at the time I thought "what a badass for not letting age get in your way"

I am just as addled as I was when I was twenty years old on two wheels, difference 30 years later, I have more experience under my belt and know that I won't mend as fast when I fall down. Really, don't think about it much when I am riding, just try to stay out of peoples bumpers and grills and either pass or let the "ass-hats" go. Gota be somewhat telepathic too :loco:

I snipped my finger with some dykes, it was a nasty cut, six weeks later I still have some remaining scar tissue.

I know many guys that are late 50s and early 60s still doing high level club racing here.

Interceptors are the "jack of all trades masters of none" sporting/touring bikes. I've ridden the spectrum. Turned 52 and my 6th-Gen is the best street bike decision I ever made, even with the V-TEC. Seriously. Dead-sexy and Honda bullet-proof.

Hi to all there aren't many who have replied to this thread that I consider old, I am 72, on heart pills and still get out when I can my best riding buddy is a 55 year old retired London Metropolitan Police motorcycle cop with about 20 yrs riding experience, sometimes at very high speed. He keeps me on my toes and up to speed. Keep going you guys life is too short to stop riding bikes. All the time I am able to ride a bike I will. Take care guys, you have the roads and usually the weather to enjoy vfrs to the best

New member here - a couple ticks under 50, and just purchased a '97 VFR750 . It's good to see so many my age and older on the VFRs. It's my first street bike in over 20 yrs, and many friends have made the 'mid-life crisis' comments. There's some truth to that, but hey, it's cheaper than a Corvette, and heaps more fun as well!

    +1 on the '66. Don't think anyone here could afford a '67

    Welcome renns,
I too am an old dog. 49. We're still young. Even young at heart. It's all about being in decent physical shape and having the mental ability to do long rides.
