Bluetooth Controller for Phone? Music?

Howdy,

Is anyone aware of a device I can use to control Spotify on my phone? I'd like to be able to skip songs and control the volume. It seems like there should be some device that can control these functions while my phone is tucked away in my tank bag. As long as I am wishing it would be great if it had glove friendly buttons and was weather resistant.

Sounds like what would best serve your needs is some sort of helmet coms. They do all that. But I suppose you are looking for something a little less expensive.

There are various helmet mods on this site. I did one myself long ago. If you get ballsy, open the bluetooth and solder in a second wire for the ear piece. Then put the controls on your jacket or wire it long enough to put it in the vinyl on your tank bag.

 

My Cardo Scala G9x and Schuberth SRC system allows control over my iPhone playback via an A2DP Bluetooth connection. Essentially the volume up/down buttons act as fwd/rev commands when you hold them down for 2 seconds or if using voice commands, just saying "next track" or "Previous track".
