    Hi there!

After this post I'm heading to bed, and in the morning I'll be going to pick up my 2003 VFR800 :D

So I figured I'd get a head start and join this community. I've already been here quite a few times while doing my research on my next bike. I'm really excited to have decided on the VFR and I found one in great shape. 15,800 miles, plastics are in good condition, no rust anywhere, and it has the factory hard bags, too!

I'm 28 and this will be my third season riding. I started on a 1978 Honda CB550k which I still have and will be turning into more of a project bike. Recently I've been riding my dad's Kawasaki Vulcan 800 because the ol' Honda is having some mechanical issues.

So - yeah. Really looking forward to riding the bike home and starting to get acquainted with it. I live in the Hudson Valley and I'm surrounded by fun, curvy roads. I'm also looking forward to doing some long distance trips.

Well, that's probably more than enough for now... see you guys around!

Welcome!! Hudson Valley...... it's one very long valley - are you mid Hudson like Poughkeepsie/Kingston area or further south? I lived there for a bunch of years and loved the back roads nearby. Shawangunks and Taconics have some fun roads. Enjoy.

So, a stellar trip that I never got around to when I lived in NYC, but which I had planned out, was taking the coast allll the way up to Nova Scotia and back. There's a lot of great country to see on the way and the further you go, the less traffic and people.

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm a bit south of Poughkeepsie, eight near West Point.

Tyarosevich a family member of mine has a vacation house in Jonesport, Maine and I'm planning on riding the coast up that way sometime this summer.

BTW, the bike is freakin AMAZING!
