Yeah hindsight is funny like that sometimes but destiny is even funnier. The shipping guy contacted me yesterday to say he was trapped in the flooding and would not be able to pick up the bike until next week. Road trip back on

Shipping! A small ship should get it out of Texas.

Ok, so road trip back on, maybe, they might be getting more rain, but here's a thought. Instead of that brutal bus ride from La to Marshall, fly Spirit to dallas ($73 one way), then 2.5 hour bus trip to Marshall. You could ship your gear there ahead of time so you wouldn't have to worry about luggage to ride home with. Good luck.

$108 was the cheapest I found out of LAX.

The problem is, due to the weather, I have a very narrow window to get from Marshall to the Fort Worth area. The Original plan was for this Friday but the weather jumped from 20 to 60% chance. As of now I'm looking at getting there Tuesday morning just as the open, finish the paperwork (install bar risers if they arrive in time) and haul ass out of the area before the weather. If I can get to the Fort in 5/6 hours then I'm GOLDEN and can adjust my ride back to be much more enjoyable.

Gotcha,($108) I looked a week out at the flights. Well, best of luck, that is an ambitious time table. Hope it all works out and you have a safe but memorable ride home.
