Bad Vibrations

    My 2006 non ABS has a wicked vibration from 90 to110 mph,chain is proerly tensioned,tires lok good.Anyone run into this on a 6th Gen. VFR800?

    I might be going out on a limb here but possible having the starter valves synched might help your motor run smother.

    check the tires pressure and make sure thier balanced properly, i dont generally ride that fast but the odd time i do the bike is very smooth so somthing is out on your bike. bikes fairly new so im sure its somthing simple ,also ride a non abs

    slacken the chain m8,and also look at tyre p.s.i. 36front 42back.
    But, do you ride your bike with a top box on????

    chain tension

    I am not sure what you mean by slacken the chain M8. Do you mean 8mm?

    adjust the chain so it just kind'a slaps upto the swing arm,not tight to it,just so the chain will slap on it with you pushing the chain upto the swing arm with your hand/finger, or what ever.
    Another thing it could be, is maybe a part worn sprocket,one way to cheque this out is to push your bike backwards,and listen for a clicking sound from the front sprocket.
