:stripper:What would you get for a every day bag to carry lunch and a few small things-something I can lean on to take pressure off my old back. I got plenty of dough now that I sold more pussy kittens.

I like my GIVI T480 Tank-Lock bag. No magnets, attaches to a metal ring that mounts to the gas cap filler ring, easy to latch/unlatch and its tall enough when not expanded that I can lean against it for some "strain relief". I think the T480 has been replaced though and the new replacement bag is now the XS306.

For sizing SOW, collapsed it'll fit 4 kittens, expanded it'll fit the mom cat as well.

I have a marsee magnetic tank bag and love it. Have had for three years and has been with me to every trip I've taken.
I've used since before I had OEM saddle bags and trunk, is expandable and have used it as a lean bag and is still in excellent shape for its age and miles used.

I want a tankbag that has a locking ring. The magnetic bag I have is putting some swirls into my paint that are tough to get out and I have many years detailing experience.

BEST bag I ever had was a Rapid Transit Recon. DON'T Buy a new one though. ITS Not the same bag. Couple guys have NOS ones from 2010 but they want $150 & up for an $80 bag. The "new" bag is CRAP. So much so that I shopped around until I found myself at the leather repair/boot spot, (oldest/best, MOST expensive shop) Windham, 15128 Hawthorne Blvd Lawndale, CA 90260‎
    (310) 675-3975. No Web-Site, No Ads, No CC, Checks, pay-pal etc. Walk-In, CASH Only. Señor is an old Flat Tracker fro the Ascott days. Anyway, I forked over $100 to have my old bag tuned up. Way better than getting that new POS from Rapid Transit

My Marsee mag tankbag is aboot 15 years old. Six bigass magnets; the bag zips in three places. The bag to the pad with the magnets, the main containment area and the expansion join.

The plastic map cover is still crystal clear. It's been washed several times and still holding. It came with a raincover that went bye-bye on its first outing. One zipper pull did the same a year ago or so. Fixed that with a wire tie.

Carrying capacity is really amazing. I bought an entire collection of Oprah re-runs on VHS from an estate and got home with all sixty unscathed. :)

I will be politicaly incorrect, are you in the market for a tank bag or a "fag-bag?" Seriously, i was always a Chase Harper guy, life time guarantee, nice service. I like a tail bag since i dont run s radar detector any morr i dont use a tank bag. Used to though, very utilitarian for carrying Jerry Springer vhs tapes with battling lesbians etc :loco:

This is a case not "The cat is out of the bag", but more what did the cat leave in the bag. No wonder SOW needs a new bag every so often.

Motocentric MOTOTREK 19 TANK BAG excellent tank bag, a bit large but fits really well and holds everything. Really holds up well too - I check in every once and awhile to make sure they are still available in case mine ever wears out. Nice matching soft saddle bags as well, those I'm saving for travel and not commuting.

    Axio Tank Bag

OK, here are some pics. Its a hard bag with soft bottom and magnetic mounts. Looks very much like a tank all by itself. Has passthrough for electric supply in front and all kinds of room inside. I have never used it, I have another hard top model, nice and waterproof.

Its black and has a strap for backpack usage.

I've got one of those that came with my bike. It was only about three years old. When I was up at Elkart Lake a couple of weeks ago it jammed!! I couldn't get it off, no matter what I did it wouldn't unlock. I ended up using BFF&I to rip it off the tank ring. Of course the tank ring broke and was pulled off with the bag.

Even after getting it home I had to pry the ring off the base. The base would unlock sometimes if both locking lips were pried back at the same time. I now have to mess with another gas cap and ring and figure out how to keep the same lock.

I will never never use anything like a lock ring on my fuel cap again. Lesson learned!

how much for that axio bag? I think its kind of cool looking, I all ready knew that ring could cause problems, a little black touch up paint fixs any magnet marks-I don't care about little dings and shit too much because I am more likely to drop the whole bike then worry about minor stuff.
