I have Knight Design pegs on my 1200. Very nice quality, and make a big difference for comfort. Price is reasonable, and you can get them colored to match your bike.

interesting, I was thinking of reusing my stock pegs because of the rubber cushion would help with vibrations

Strange, wont that limit your clearance therefore cornering ability ?

    Its preventative measures.

By having lower pegs, when the bike inevitably falls over, the pegs will now hit sooner thereby reducing damage to the plastics.

I think these might be perfect lowering pegs for my using the original pegs with rubber- I email them to see if he still has them
BSL netters2@comcast.net they had them listed for $90.50 shipped

Are you tall sonofwolf? Just wondering whether it feels cramped for that reason or just does anyway. I am, and have been considering options for easing my aches after long rides...

I am not too tall, but I can see having more room for my feet will make me sit more straight up-. 1.5 inches would help a bit. The handle bars aren't very good-I need at least a set of heli-bars too. I can't ride for much more than 2 hours

you know of course I am not stupid enough to ride a vfr without real sliders, only BB and Randy and a few other Nut cases do that.:fencing: the Knight design looked like good peg lowering kit-I might go with that if this other place stopped making them. I am going to outfit for touring mode- I have red hard bags with one side with scratches-may have the bags paint matching black. The knight design looks real sharp with black color.
