Just got the Auctmarts VFR1200 fairing kit in. Quality looks good and install in pending. The windshield in more bubbled than stock.

Please take a look at the attached windshield image that came in the kit. It looks like it may be a like the PUIG or Zero gravity or their design to knock the air stream off the rider. What do you think?

I am thinking about ordering the dark black PUIG or Zero gravity Duble bubble to complete the Back in Black theme.

    Thanks!

The color is the 2013 Glossy Black except she will be de-stickered. Sorry about the poor lights in the unboxing video. I was inspecting the parts with a flash light as I unpacked the kit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-oiX6-CTNY&feature=youtu.be

The paint looks hard and well applied. I’m applying a Zaino brothers polish treatment before the install.

The Kit’s shield looks like the Double Bubble design and I agree will work better that stock. I am still thinking about getting the Zero Gravity or Puig dark black shield for the bader looks.

I got the DCT model back in 2010 to use as a DC heavy traffic commuter bike, so wind is not an issue and works great. It is living with the DCT I have the problem with as I like still prefer the manual clutch for spirited back road driving.

Updated images in the video like below. The fairing fitment is going well and looks perfect. Honda made all all the fairing parts interlocking so it was a puzzle figuring out the best sequence to install. I had to order some more spring clips as some snapped removing them off the old fairing. The velcro tabs used to hold the top of the gas tank sides on is holding but there is a little gap as I had with the original covers. A thin bead of RTV may be better method.

    Any questions, comments, concerns?

I update later with a HD video of the final install.

Seems cool, but does it work?
I'm 1m82 and I have the original Honda double-windschield, but it's not that great.
At high speeds it gives a lot of wind-pressure.

Talking about above 180KM/h and more.
How does this screen work as such speeds?

My 800 is better with a touring-screen then this Honda solution.
So how does yours keep up?
