So I am currently messing around with photoshop to see what type of decals I want to have made. Here are the few options that Ive come up with so far. My favorites in order are 2, 5, 3, 4, 1.

    Option 1

IMO, 3 & 5 are the most striking. There's something about that red and gold combo with a hint of black (vs. too much black, as in the other three) that really looks good to me. They make me wish I had a red scheme to play with!

It's your bike though. You do you!

Agreed. #1 does absolutely nothing for me. If I were you, I would get some Plasti Dip paint and paint right onto your bike to see how you like it. If you don't, it just peels right off leaving no trace at all and no damage to the original paint.

I saw someone who had their front shocks painted gold too. That looked good. Something else to consider seeing as you have incorporated gold already.

I take it you are going to get this done at one of those shops that produce commercial markings for cars, trucks and the such. That's who did mine. Mine was a little pricey due to the one off design and the 3M reflective qualities, but I got what I wanted.

2 is easily the best IMHO. Never been a fan of gold wheels on anything, but it all flows together well.

Option #2 or #5 for me. When you're done I have a 5 Gen that can use a new paint job!

#3, but take off the decal that is the lowest on the fairing - so it only has 4 wings vs. 5.

    Nice job!

Do you just send some kind of Photoshop file to the guys that cut them?

Yeah theres a guy locally that said if I send him a photoshop and come by with my bike for measurements then he can get them printed up. I considered the tapeworks kit but the local guy said that he could do the same one for half the price. Ive seen a couple of big honda wing decals show up occasionally too which I will consider also.

I say 5, but get an 8 spocker.
    That will set it off.

Just a thought. I believe 3M makes a product that looks black yet reflects like their Scotchbrite when hit by light. So, in daylight the black would be what you see above but it would jump out a bitch slap you in the face at night.

If you get this done, don't forget to post up pix.

3,5,7. i like 5 alot. its a great blend. I would try downsizing and bringing the graphic to the front and down so the top wing lands on the side of the tank at the curve. i would be interested in seening that
