Hello! My name is Evan and I am currently purchasing a 2001 FI. I should be picking it up in a couple of days and I'm really excited. Just thought I'd say hi. The bike is in great shape and has around 16k miles. I've heard great things about 5th gens.

I should say so that's a score and clearly pre-loved! I would've saved some serious coin if mine came with those bits.

I got to ride it the last couple of days. What a blast! I thought it would be a bit boring coming from a zx6r, but I was wrong. I love it :smile-new:

800 is very close to the power as a 600, but has more torque add a 120pounds, same turn in but more muscle needed. The vfr rides much nicer and more wind screen and get some hard bags for long trips.:flock:

Prior to my 6th Gen, I had a '99 5th Gen that I bought new. It was a fantastic bike and the gear whine was pure music. As stated previously, power wise, you are about equal in power to a 600cc super sport. Congratulations on your new ride.

Im looking to buy a Givi top case for it too. Any suggestions on which ones will work well for storing my riding pants with other objects comfortably? I am leaning toward the 52 liter.
