cant find release tabs on headight sockets 97 vfr

    service manual says to release tab to pull headlight sockets. Cant find any tabs. local dealers no help. need help

    Sometimes you have to squeeze the sides to release the tabs, but can't see them because of a rubber boot.

    If you mean the connectors on the bulbs, just pull off but can be tight, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. remove rubber boot and headlight bulb is held in by a spring clip.

    He's right... they can be a bitch. I've thought for sure I would break something on my VFs.

    Thanks for the info guys. Guess I`ll just pull on it till something happens. Just wasn`t sure based on service manual info
