After now confidently solving my R/R issue I hope now, or at least for the time being, I now have a brake issue.

I rebuilt both the front calipers, pistons move real smooth in and out. Rebuilt the master cylinder. I did this because the brake were locking up previously

Today im confident enuf to get the bike inspected, I ride it towards the local Honda dealer and the front brakes lock up and im stuck almost in the middle of the damn street. What a nightmare this bike is becoming, I have owned alot of bikes in the past several years and this one is the textbook definition of a nightmare.

I checked that small hole previously in the master, im thinking the lines must be deteriorated from the inside out causing this, I have no other explanation. I can pump up the brakes many many times they will lock almost just doing this in my shop, then if I crack a bleeder it peeps a little fluid and its loose again. If I ride the bike it happens much faster, im thinking the heat amplifies it. UGHH

I must have put a shock into this bike after the last owners neglected it, its a beauty queen now, and like most of the attractive women I've known, they've got hidden issues you cant see.

Proof is the bleed hole is blocked again, pull the master cylinder and strip and clean it, what you are doing is pushing the little slug blocking the hole back into the line each time you clear it, the next time you use the lever the slug comes straight back and plugs the hole again

When it left me locked up earlier I snapped the lever in and out a bunch a f times and all of a sudden it let free again. Upon getting home I popped the cap off the master and stuck a tiny wire in that tiny hole. I could almost get it locked in my shop, but not quite. It gets tight enuf but I can still roll the bike. Im gonna do those lines this weekend and disassemble that master again and pay more attn to that return hole

Just swap front ends with a newer model and better brakes. I got tired of dealing with the same kinds of issues you've been posting about, so I'm in the middle of a whole bunch of hardware updates. I love the bike for it's heart and soul, but dealing with old machines that have sat in a state of neglect can be a real hassle.
