Left my vfr in the garage again for 2 months, came today, turned ignition on... nothing.. the same as it would be if it was off..

Tried to bump start it from a car, again not even a crank..
messed around with the fuses, checked them, made sure wires were fine, after 20 minutes i finally got it started (bump start)
Took it on a 10 minute ride then left it on idle as i went home to eat something, came back to it, turned itself off, again with 0 battery..
Bought a brand new battery fully charged, tried it, same thing, almost as if there's something blocking any electricity going though.. checked the fuses by hand, nothing looks wrong...
89 vfr, 78k miles on it..
Any idea what could of caused this? Me and my son tried to push start it also for 30 minutes, until our legs stopped working, it cranks as if it's about to start, but there was no 'spark' even at 20mph.. 10 minutes after the bike turned itself off where the engine was relatively still 'hot'

Dirty kill switch? Did your model year have a side stand button?

Next time, disconnect the battery when parking the bike long time. Normally battery drain for a parked bike is 1 percent per day or even more.
Charge the battery at low Amps. Take care it does not get hot while charging. You checked the fuses, but did you also check the large main fuse? Also this, a bike standing for two months will have dried out its carburetors. You may have to get them cleaned. A combination of low electricity and fuel problems could have caused this. Also, possible but not likely, the wiring may have gone wrong during the parking period, oxidization of contact surfaces and so on. Check the capacitor and spark plug connections.

You may want to inspect the connector on top of the starter relay, common issue.

Got the lights and the battery to work, a lot of wires were either melt or broken, now however whenever i press the start button i don't get any backfire or the engine turning over..any idea guys?

    update:
My friend went over all of it again, we found the problem. the neutral switch was f*cked, tricked the bike into thinkings it's in gear , and it wouldn't let the bike turn over, tried it into tricking it it's in neutral and bike started up first try, now i just gotta buy a new one and i'm sorted i hope :)
    success
