Has anyone installed the LSL handlebar kit on their "2010" VFR1200 DCT model? I tied to order a set of LSL handlebrs for my 2010 DCT bike and the distributors say they only work on the 2011 and follow on DCTs. http://www.sportbiketrackgear.com/lsl-honda-vfr-1200-dct-11-14-handlebar-riser-kit/ The LSL kit is manufactured in Europe. I think the problem is that the 2011 DTC were not sold in the US and it has them confused on the bikes. I check the parts numbers for the top tree for both years and they are the same. The 2010 DTC had slow sales in the US due to high price and still had inventory at the dealers. The Heli bar option is showing 2010-2015 using the same kit number. https://www.helibars.com/product/honda-vfr1200-replacement-handlebars-0 The Heli kit is lighter and cheaper, but I like the old school looks of the LSL bars.
I have them on my 2010 dct. Very good improvement in comfort level. You can use the stock brake line,but will need new bar ends. I would recommend them. Install is straight forward just take your time.
