So I think I need a new ECM to get my VTEC working properly again. I have a 2002 with ECM part No 38770-MCW-A02. I see used ECMs online for not terrible prices, but they never have the exact same part No. How critical is it that I stick to the exact part No? Is a 38770-MCW-L02 any different from an -A02? Anyone have any experience buy used ECMs?

Just a Guess- a 2006 ECM might be a upgrade for you-it has a better program.
