I have a little play in my throttle from off to on, maybe a few millimeters. It usually is not a problem until I am turning a corner and go to roll on coming out of the turn and I have an abrupt engagement. It is especially unnerving if I am using my throttle to steer through high speed corning, either rolling on or maintaining speed.

Is there a way to adjust this? Would a PCII or III correct this abrupt throttle engagement?

I don't want any responses about having more precise throttle control from my hand or whatever because I have worked on that and it still does it.

    Hey Zonaman:

Adjusting the trottle cable is one of the best things you can do so you don't have such an abrupt engagement.

Check you manual on how to adjust your throttle cable and do it!

I had to adjust mine on the 97 because I had the same issue you are having, and what a difference!

Adjusting your throttle cable costs much less than power commander and should give you want!

Let me know how it works out.
