I have *most* of an 85 to offer, as well as a lot of misc. stuff I've been stockpiling. I came across the opportunity to buy a VF1000R for $1,700, so I **NEED** to sell some stuff! :p I bought a whole lot that someone had up for grabs, and everything except the frame came in a bunch of boxes. The only thing I do not have to offer is a short block, as the motor threw a rod and took out a good chunk of the case, then wedged that piston into the cylinder wall. I've only just begun going through the parts, so if anyone has anything they need, post up and I'll see if I have it, then get a picture of it. I did snap a couple quick pictures before work of the body pieces and exhaust. The exhaust pictured is scraped a little, but can easily be repainted/coated. I DO have a mint set of pipes, but that would take a decent offer to get me to sell them.

I also have a brand new, never used chain available.

Again, these are just quick snaps of things I took before work. Any requests, I will get them pictured.

    Minor scratches

Dirty, minor scrapes on one. Mint set available for right offer.

    Un-damaged side

Damaged side. That piece is hanging on, flapping around. Scrape on corner.

Cosmetic damage to front cowl, no physical damage. Mint side fairings, no damage. Great condition bottom fairing (will need to clean it to check for any damage, I don't recall there being any).

Rear fairing's plastic spot welds are broken along one side, easy fix. Otherwise fine.

Two poorly repaired gas tanks. The one on the left may just need to be ground down. The one on the right would definitely need some bondo. Both were sand blasted before being stored, so the rust is just surface rust. I can grind and re-blast them if anyone desires.

    Front wheel and Sprocket

Targa gas tank cover. There is a tear in the left side. I intend to keep and repair it, so make offer?

Exhaust. Both systems are complete, but not all pieces are in the picture.

    Clutch and misc. internal parts.

Literal baskets full of... stuff. There's two more boxes I haven't even gone through.

    PLEASE FUND MY VF1000R!!! :D

I could use the reflectors, bases, nuts, etc. that go on the sides of the rear tail section.

Those are part of the fairing, so I'd like to keep them complete. If reflectors are all you need, why not just get universals off eBay?

The ones I need are on the sides of the tail section, not the fairing.
As described I need more than the reflectors- bases, nuts, & there is another piece on ea. one shown on the diagram that I don't recall the name of. Universal ones will not include everything so I don't believe they would fit properly.

So in the 6th picture, the fairing pieces on the box, you're talking about something other than the red reflector pieces on that? The only reflectors I am aware of are the red ones on the rear fairing, and the yellow ones on the radiator coverings.

Yep, those. I've always considered that the tailpiece or rear cowl. That's what they call it in the parts diagram anyway.

Gotcha. Well, PM me an offer and I'll consider stripping them off?

Do you have the main bolt for the side stand? A good rear shock also?

Bumping this very old thread with an updated listing. IK'm now selling *everything*, including the bike. I am buying a house, so turning all extra toys into money.

I will not be updating the previous forum posts, only the Craigslist ad, so please refer to that as the up-to-date status of all parts/bike availability.
