Hi all I'm wondering if some 1 can help me.
I have a vfr 750 fl 1991 . Been a great bike but recently I have noticed a lot of vibration in the right hand side foot peg ans a little in the left. I've tried to work it out but to no joy.
I've replaced chain and sprockets, fitted new tyres, (sames as the last 1s) replaced the clutch but not the basket about 6 months ago. And I checked to see I the centre stand was caching the exhaust.. Engine mountings seem ok 2.
Engine runs fine no different to wen I first got her.
Any tips or any1 who's had the same problems??
Also the bike has done close to 70 thousand miles

    Any help would be fantastic

Can you be more specific? Is it the actual peg that is vibrating? Are you feeling vibration through the peg? What sort of loading condition does it occur under? Is it constant or only under accelerating? Are you two up or carrying bags? Sorry man, but vibrations are tough since it could be anything from a bad wheel balance to blown fork seals, warped brakes, loose head bearings, cracked frame (unlikely), a mounting bolt that is still in place but has sheared off... I once was convinced I had a bad tire but it turned out that my rear shock was adjusted too high and was not able to provide adequate dampening, when I lowered it a bit the problem went away.

I had a light vibration in the pegs on my VFR800. Tightening up the engine mount bolts and the bolts on the pegs (not sure if the 750 has those..) seemed to help.

Vibration is a constant wen the engine is ticking over I can put a hand on the right peg and feel slight vibration and none in the left. When I'm out riding at low speeds it's not a reàl issue. But around 5000 revs it gets to the point where it's making my foot go to sleep this is all done riding doll with no bags. And the more revs the more it vibrates all in the right peg. Not checked the engine mount bolt yet will have a look at the wknd. Thanks for the replys guys

I'll give my 1991 a close look when I get home and attempt to provide you with greater direction. I know the clutch being close could cause some strange vibrations were it to have an issue, vibrations which would dissipate once they reached the other side of the bike. The rear right exhaust primary also runs just inside the frame and behind the heat shield which could be vibrating. My next quarry would be is there any noise associated with the vibration? If not then that would rule out almost anything being broken...almost.

Based on location I have to suspect the lower rear engine mount. Located in front and below the right rearset... That is unless a gremlin got in there.
