I'm curious if anybody has all of the generations of the VFRs. Or who's own the most. Or who has the most. I never win anything but I've had an 83 and 86, 93 and 2000 and a 2007. I still own the last three listed. For this little competition will include the 500 to 250 and the 1000s.
Who is the VFR king?. Remember it's not the most VFRs, it's the broadest ownership of them.

A '91 750, my first bike and a glorious place to start, a '98 800 and my current '00 800, so you got me beat there...

I keep thinking as VFRs are the only bikes I've owned that I ought to diversify a little, but what the hell can I follow one with??

It's a tough act to follow for sure. I also have a ST1300, but it's another V4 Honda. I am afraid to go exotic Italian, my Italian wife is all I can handle maintenance wise!

I've owned a '94 and '98, and am about to pick up an '07 RWB, plus have ridden an '86 700 and a '91 750. They're all a little different in their ways, but all are fantastic; I will say that the '94 handled better than the '98 until I threw a DMR shock on it, and that the sound of the '94 through a Vance and Hines exhaust was like nothing I've ever heard before. I only had my '94 for a month before I got hit by a car on it, I sold my '98 this past week after three and a half years with it. I hope to keep the '07 much longer than that.

I'm in for a 93, 97 and 07. for decades, I despised the 4th gens. couldn't stand the body work more than anything, but I never saw it in person, just pictures. last year, I found a great deal so decided I'd go look maybe naked-ify it. Once I actually saw it, I loved it. Now I ride it the most.

    I had a 86 700, still have the 90 (bought in 91) and picked up last year a 07 RWB. Should've kept the 86.

    Motley fan,
I just sold my 86 VFR700 to make room for the 92 and the 2000. I don't miss it just yet, but I could see a nice 86 750 again in my collection someday. I bought one brand new back in 1986. Sure looked good next to my 07.

I would love to get another 86 but my bike buying days are on hold for awhile. This past sat. I picked up a 1 owner 2006 rc51 with 1421miles to match the 2000 rc I bought new. With the 2 vfr's, a resto-moded 96 cbr900rr, and a restored 75 kaw 400 triple and restored 72 mini trail I'm running out of room in the garage.:sorrow:

Hmmmm. Let's see. An 1985 VF1000F, 91/96/97 VFR750, and a 2000 VFR800. The current stable is occupied by the 96 VFR750 (my wife's bike) and my 2000 VFR800. I'm still a little partial to my old 97 VFR as I owned it the longest and put the most mileage on it. It never ceases to amaze that even though my wife's bike and mine have the exact same slip-on the 96 just sounds soooo much sweeter for some reason. As far as riding position goes I'm partial to the 5th gen as it seems to have a tad more leg room.

I've had the last three models of 800, but one at a time not all together!
